Resistance Band Exercises
Resistance band exercises are a great way to get started with strength training. They come in many sizes and resistances from extra light to extra heavy or 10 lbs. to 50 lbs. depending on the type of band. Plus I love that they are colour coded and can be organized on a wall from lowest resistance to highest. Start with the lowest resistance and as you get stronger move up to the next level. Form is important! Try to sit up straight, shoulders back, and belly button to spine.
